This Policy applies to all users of the Nexa Nurse website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

3. Who Must Be Verified?
Verification requirements vary depending on the type of account.
Clients
Clients may be required to verify:
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
- Identity (where necessary)
- Payment information
Registered Nurses
Registered Nurses must complete identity and professional verification before they can accept bookings.
Care Assistants
Care Assistants must complete identity verification and provide evidence of their qualifications, certifications, or relevant experience before they can accept bookings.
Healthcare Institutions and Corporate Clients
Organizations may be required to provide:
- Business registration documents
- Authorized representative details
- Contact information
- Additional documentation requested by Nexa Nurse
4. Identity Verification
Users may be asked to provide one or more of the following:
- Government-issued identification
- International Passport
- National Identity Card
- Driver’s Licence
- Permanent Voter’s Card
- Residence Permit (where applicable)
- Passport photograph
- Selfie or facial verification
- Proof of address
- Phone number verification
- Email verification
Nexa Nurse may reject documents that are expired, altered, incomplete, illegible, or suspected to be fraudulent.
5. Professional Verification
Healthcare Professionals may be required to submit:
- Professional licence
- Nursing Council registration details (where applicable)
- Educational certificates
- Professional certifications
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Employment history
- References
- Continuing professional development records (where applicable)
Nexa Nurse reserves the right to independently verify submitted credentials with relevant authorities or institutions.
6. Background Checks
Where permitted by law, Nexa Nurse may conduct background checks to assess a Healthcare Professional’s suitability for the Platform.
Background checks may include:
- Identity verification
- Employment history verification
- Licence status verification
- Criminal record checks (where legally permissible)
- Professional disciplinary history
- Sanctions or regulatory restrictions
Completion of a background check does not guarantee approval.
7. Ongoing Verification
Verification is not a one-time process.
Nexa Nurse may require users to:
- Reconfirm their identity.
- Update expired identification documents.
- Renew professional licences.
- Submit updated certifications.
- Complete additional verification checks.
- Reverify accounts following suspicious activity.
Failure to comply may result in temporary restrictions or suspension.
8. Verification Status
Healthcare Professionals who successfully complete the required verification process may receive a verification badge or status on their profile.
A verification badge indicates that Nexa Nurse has completed reasonable verification checks based on the information available at the time.
It does not constitute a guarantee of future conduct, competence, performance, or clinical outcomes.
9. Refusal or Failure to Verify
Nexa Nurse may refuse, suspend, or terminate an account where:
- Required documents are not provided.
- Verification cannot be completed.
- Information is inconsistent.
- Documents appear altered or fraudulent.
- Professional credentials cannot be confirmed.
- A user refuses to cooperate with verification requests.
Users whose verification is declined may reapply if they can provide satisfactory supporting documentation.
10. False Information
Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information is strictly prohibited.
Examples include:
- Fake identification documents
- Forged licences or certificates
- False employment history
- Misrepresented qualifications
- False addresses
- Identity theft
- Use of another person’s documents
Accounts associated with fraudulent information may be permanently terminated, and Nexa Nurse may report suspected criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.
11. Account Restrictions
Users who have not completed required verification may be restricted from:
- Accepting bookings
- Receiving payouts
- Withdrawing funds
- Accessing certain Platform features
- Updating professional profiles
- Participating in promotional programs
Restrictions will remain in place until verification requirements have been satisfied.
12. Payment Verification
To reduce financial fraud, Nexa Nurse may verify:
- Bank account ownership
- Payment methods
- Billing information
- Transaction history
- Wallet activity
Additional verification may be required before processing high-value transactions or withdrawals.
13. Data Protection
Verification information is handled in accordance with the Nexa Nurse Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Verification documents are:
- Stored securely.
- Accessible only to authorized personnel and approved service providers.
- Used solely for verification, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and related legitimate business purposes.
Nexa Nurse does not sell verification information to third parties.
14. Fraud Prevention

Where suspicious activity is detected, Nexa Nurse may:
- Suspend the account.
- Freeze pending payouts.
- Delay withdrawals.
- Request additional documentation.
- Conduct further investigations.
- Report suspected fraud to financial institutions or law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
15. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for ensuring that:
- Submitted information is accurate and complete.
- Documents remain valid and up to date.
- Expired licences and identification are renewed promptly.
- Changes to legal name, address, or professional status are reported to Nexa Nurse without undue delay.
16. Verification Decisions
Verification decisions are made based on the information reasonably available to Nexa Nurse at the time of assessment.
Nexa Nurse reserves the right to:
- Request additional information.
- Delay approval pending further review.
- Decline verification where requirements are not met.
Verification decisions are made in good faith and in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
17. Appeals
If your verification request is declined or your account is restricted due to verification issues, you may submit an appeal.
Appeals should include:
- Your full name.
- Registered email address.
- A description of the issue.
- Supporting documentation.
- Any additional information that may assist our review.
Nexa Nurse will review appeals within a reasonable timeframe and communicate its decision.
18. Changes to This Policy
Nexa Nurse may amend this Verification Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, industry standards, regulatory obligations, or Platform operations.
Updated versions will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
